We are hosting Thanksgiving this year and I can’t help but think ahead to what I want my table to look like!
I gravitate towards a simpler table scape. I’m all about creating a casual and welcoming environment when we host. Pretty and seasonal, but not overly fussy.
This is a simple table scape style you can use when hosting anything from casual gatherings to a bigger event like Thanksgiving. I hope this provides inspiration as you start thinking about any holiday hosting you are doing!
I tried to focus on using what I have for this table set up and shopped my house where needed. The only two things I purchased new this year were the fresh flowers (Trader Joe’s is the best!) and the faux eucalyptus place setting stems.

I am not usually a huge pink person, but I was feeling touches of light pink this year mixed with a deeper rusty red and touches of yellow and green.
Brass candle sticks mixed with light pink candle sticks feels fresh and fun, a little twist on traditional fall colors.
My favorite new gold pot was the perfect centerpiece. It allows the flowers to shine, but is still short enough so everyone can see over the flowers when they are eating. It’s one of my pet peeves when I can’t see the person across from me because of a floral arrangement!
I normally gravitate to all fresh greenery for table settings, but I couldn’t pass up these cute faux eucalyptus stems to place on top of white napkins! I like that they are re-useable and they add a nice touch to each place setting rather than doing a formal place setting card.
If you want to add an additional seasonal touch to the table you could add fresh pomegranates to the centerpiece.

Be sure to check your local thrift store when planning table scapes! I often find candle sticks, candle tapers, and vases second hand, which makes them very affordable!
