I can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week! If you are like me and waited to the last minute to figure out your Thanksgiving table scape I have a simple, modern and traditional table scape you can put together in no time!
If you look closely you can tell I am in the process of deciding what color to paint our dining room… before Thanksgiving. I told you I wait to the last minute.
I started with a neutral table runner. I added my plates, silverware, and wineglasses. For a more casual feel I simply folded gray linen napkins and laid them on each plate. On top of each napkin I added a place card leaned against a pear for a little bit of color.
Then I used my wood slice server in the middle of the table with my favorite green vase filed with gorgeous protea flowers (thanks, Costco!).
I placed two brass candle sticks with black candles on each side of the green vase for an added traditional, moody touch.
Simple, pretty, with natural elements… all of my favorite in one!
Can’t forget about my favorite bar cart. I added a few fall touches to create a welcoming place for guests to grab drinks at their leisure. Faux lambs ear in a thrifted vase, a cozy blanket, and a pretty dusty blue vase for an ice bucket add in some color and texture. Which goes nicely with the striped towel to wipe up messes, a few extra glasses, and extra wine… the necessities.
Happy week of Thanksgiving, friends! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
