It’s hard to believe we’ll have 2 boys in a matter of a few months! We are trying to wrap up a few house projects prior to when baby boy will make his arrival in early April, one of those being the nursery!
His nursery is going to be the room that was originally going to be Leo’s nursery, before we swapped Leo to a different room! We are using the same crib, rug and curtains so the overall feel will be similar, but I am aiming to bring in different accents and decor to make baby boy’s room feel special to him.

The Design Plan
I want the room to feel calming, collected, and mostly traditional with a few modern elements. I don’t typically choose a room theme, but instead am focusing on incorporating art that means something to us (in this case I am leaning into the outdoors, which is pretty typical in our home) and using natural materials like wood, seagrass, wool, canvas, and cotton where I can.
I am so excited for this room to start coming together. Leo loves helping out in his baby brother’s room, which is very sweet and we are looking forward to watching him become a big brother. Although, I know he has no idea how much life is going to change in a few months.
