We are less than 2 months out from baby boy’s expected arrival and the nursery is finished! The nursery is not something that needs to be done before his arrival because he won’t be sleeping in there for a few months, but it’s definitely nice to have it all ready to go.

The Final Product
We are so happy with how it turned out! We kept the bones of the room (flooring, wall treatment, paint, curtains) the same, plus the crib and dresser are the same ones we used for Leo’s nursery, which gave us a big starting point!
We added in a few new accessories and decor items to make the room feel a little different than Leo’s nursery. Fresh art, lighting, and painting the crib made a big difference.
I focused on adding art that represented our love of the outdoors, especially trees and water. I love having the rocking chair facing the big double windows. I imagine we’ll be spending a lot of time in this spot, likely with the shades closed, but it will be nice to have a pretty view when we can take advantage of it.
We kept things fairly simple in the nursery, while adding in a few special details – just how we like it! We are so excited to bring our little guy home in just a few short weeks and show him around.
