Hello and welcome to The Adored Abode! I have followed many other blogs myself for years and my heart had been tugging at me to start a blog of my own. I finally took a big leap outside of my comfort zone and did it! I have always had a passion for home decor, styling, and organizing. Now that I have a house of my own and have moved beyond just re-styling my bedroom as I did so often as a kid (lets be real I still do that frequently) I am on a mission to create a home we love that both fits our style and meets the functional needs of our daily life.
Kansas City is my home. I have a wonderful husband and I am a mama of two sweet pups. I am an accountant by day, but I spend a lot of my free time dreaming up different styling ideas and ways to make our house work better for our little family.
