We got our first big snow this past weekend and it really got me in the holiday spirit. We are hosting a few holiday gatherings this year and I can’t help but plan what I want the table decorations to look like in advance, though I still almost always opt for a simpler tablescape.
This year I kept to the classics.

I opted for a cream colored linen table runner topped with classic fresh eucalyptus greenery from Trader Joe’s laid out like a garland, brass candle sticks holders, and white tapers. My brass candle stick holders are thrifted, but these are a pretty, modern version.

I went with my go to white linen napkins, topped with a simple pinecone at each place setting. Pinecones are the perfect, simple winter touch.

For occasions where a tablescape isn’t needed this general theme could easily be transferred to a counter or mantle!
