I love to style and re-style our coffee table. I am not much for traditional seasonal décor, but I do like to switch things up seasonally with different colors and textures. Regardless of the season, I always have a few staples on my coffee table. I have included a few items in each category as examples for your convenience, simply click the product images under each category to shop!

Books
Large, coffee table style books are a great anchor. They can stand alone in a stack of 2-3 or you can layer something on top like a vase or a candle. We have a bottom shelf on our coffee table and it always has a stack of pretty books. Tip: Try taking the jacket off of the book! I almost always remove the book jackets and there is usually a very pretty cover waiting beneath.
A Place to Corral Items
A tray, low basket, or a box is a great staple to include on your coffee table. The less than pretty things (i.e. remotes) always look better when they have a home – weather it be inside a box or resting on a low sided basket or tray. A larger tray is also a great way to anchor a few items – coasters, a vase, and a candle are usually on our coffee table tray.
Vases
A vase with fresh or faux seasonal flowers or greens are a staple on our coffee table. Though, I have learned over the years if the vase or stems are too tall/block the view of the TV they will get moved. Now, I try to stick to low profile vases and shorter stems for the coffee table and they tend to stay there.
